Aged 9, I went on a trip to Portugal, and tasted something completely different to what I was used to at home. And that's when my awakening happened.
There’s 1600 varieties of olives around the world. Each olive will give you a different tasting oil. In that beautiful moment in Portugal, I actually tasted the difference. It’s by no surprise that I trained as an olive oil sommelier. Equipped with my expertise (and a very fat tuition bill), I began working with farms across the Mediterranean to bring you a selection of craft olive oil so you can taste the difference.
